Its USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connector is compatible with a wide range of devices.The T7 Shield Beige has a maximum read speed of 1,050 MB/s and a maximum write speed of 1,000 MB/s via its USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connector. It is nearly twice as fast as its predecessor, the T5, and up to 9.5 times faster than a standard external hard disk drive. The T7 Shield includes 256-bit AES hardware encryption to keep data safe and secure even if the T7 Shield is lost. It also has access to Samsung’s Magician Software, which allows users to easily control the drive.The T7 Shield Beige was built from the ground up to withstand drops of up to 9.8 feet.
