The Transcend 230S 2TB 2.5 Inch SATA III SSD expands your system’s capacity “Transcend internal SSD. This 2.5 Inch SSD offers a SATA III 6Gb/s interface with reading and writing speeds of up to 560 MB/s and 520 MB/s, respectively. An SSD allows you to launch and load apps in seconds. Furthermore, because it is just 6.8mm tall, this drive is compatible with desktops and most laptops, providing a performance boost. The SSD230 comes with a DDR3 DRAM cache to improve read and write speed. Its SATA III 6 Gb/s interface enables it to achieve read and write rates of up to 560 MB/s for non-4K content and 520 MB/s for 4K stuff. Transcend SSD Scope software, available as an additional download, allows you to monitor the drive’s health using S.M.A.R.T technology, enable the TRIM command for quicker write rates, keep the drive’s firmware up to date, and even move data from your old drive to a new one.
