The TOSHIBA MG06 Enterprise 8TB HDD has an industry-standard 3.5-inch 26.1 mm height form factor and Advanced Format sector technology for maximum capacity and data dependability. Toshiba’s Persistent Write Cache technology improves speed while preserving data integrity in the case of a power outage. The TOSHIBA MG06 Enterprise 8TB HDD has a SATA 6.0 Gbit/s interface, while the MG06S Series has an SAS 12 Gbit/s interface, which is meant to assist conserve rack space and minimize the footprint and operating load of business-critical servers and storage systems. Models with 512e or 4Kn Advanced Format sector technology are available. When compared to the previous MG05 series, the hard drive improves sustained transfer rate performance to 230 MiB/s and enhances MTTF/MTBF by 25%. 4Kn sector models provide adequate performance as well as interoperability with 4Kn-capable programs and operating systems. 512e models are widely supported today, and they also assist support legacy applications and operating systems that require 512 B sector lengths.
