The Expansion SSD is compact and fast, and it fits almost undetected in your luggage, providing stylish and simple external solid-state backup for your laptop. Simply drag and drop, and you’re done. The Expansion SSD supports data transfer speeds of up to 400 MB/s when used in conjunction with its USB 3.0 interface, also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1 or USB 3.1 Gen 2. It is exFAT formatted, which means it will work without reformatting with Windows 7 and later, as well as macOS 10.12 and later. However, a reformat may be required for use with Apple’s Time Machine. There is a USB 3.0 cable included. The Seagate Expansion 1TB Portable External SSD comes with a 03-year warranty.
