The system has 16 GB of ECC DDR4 memory, which can be expanded to 128 GB by installing four 32 GB modules. The QNAP TS-h987XU-RP-E2334-16G NAS Storage has 9 drive bays, accommodating up to 12 3.5-inch SATA hard disk drives or solid state drives and up to 6 2.5-inch U.2/U.3 NVMe PCIe solid state drives or SATA solid state drives. The drive bays are hot-swappable and lockable, allowing easy installation and replacement without interrupting system operation.
