The QNAP TS-832PXU-RP-4G-EU 8 Bay NAS Storage is a powerful and reliable network-attached storage solution with great performance, scalability, and security for a wide range of applications. It is powered by an AnnapurnaLabs Alpine AL324 CPU with four cores and a clock speed of 1.7 GHz. This processor provides quick and efficient performance for multitasking, data backup, file sharing, and other applications. It ships with 4 GB of UDIMM DDR4 memory that can be expanded to 16 GB by inserting a 16 GB module into the memory slot. UDIMM DDR4 memory has a fast data transfer rate and low power consumption, making it excellent for energy-efficient operation. It features eight drive bays and can hold up to eight 3.5-inch SATA hard disk drives or solid-state devices. QNAP TS-832PXU-RP-4G-EU 8 Bay NAS Storage provides a big storage capacity as well as flexibility to meet a variety of purposes. The drive bays are hot-swappable and lockable, allowing for quick drive installation and replacement without disrupting system function. It includes four USB 3.2 Gen 1 connections that can transfer data at speeds up to 5 Gbps. It has a 2U rackmount form factor, buttons, a system warning buzzer, two 70mm fans, and a 250W power supply unit. It supports a variety of network protocols as well as dual-boot OS security.
