The device has Expandable up to 18 GB, 2 GB DDR4 RAM and a 4-core processor. The RS820RP+ delivers excellent sequential performance at over 1,621 MB/s reading and 599 MB/s writing when Link Aggregation is enabled in a 10GbE environment 2. One extra Synology Expansion Unit RX4183 can increase the storage capacity of the RS820RP+, giving it a total raw capacity of up to 128 TB with 8 drives.
